The 36-storey Shangri-La Sydney hotel, located approximately 20 minutes' walk from the style church "St Mary's Cathedral", offers its guests a steam room, a Jacuzzi, and a sauna to relax in. This 5-star hotel is a good starting point for exploring Sydney, including the astronomical Sydney Observatory, which is a mere 0.6 km away.

Location

Wynyard Station is a short way from the hotel, and Kingsford Smith airport is 5 km away.

There is Sydney Opera House 16 minutes on foot from the Shangri-La.

Wynyard train station lies within a few blocks of the property.

Rooms

The rooms comprise a seating area complete with an air conditioner, as well as an iPod dock and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. A separate toilet and a shower, along with hairdryers and bath sheets, are provided in the bathroom. Some rooms look out onto the sea.

The restaurant is located on the top floor, providing amazing views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House. The food was delicious, and the breakfast spread was one of the best I've ever had.
